  SYNOPSIS  
  According to Hindu mythology there was a demon named Rakhtbeej who had a boon that if his blood ever touched the ground, it would grow a new body of that demon. The play "Rakhtbeej" only uses the mythology as an inspiration. Rakhtbeej is symbolic. However the play is contemporary. "Rakhtbeej" explores & exposes the blood demons inside all of us, to be something or to get everything these blood demons encourage us to follow one rule: USE EACH OTHER.
The play “Rakhtbeej” is based on husband- wife relationship; the closest relationship. They understand each other and care for each other. But in today’s times, their relationship is getting shattered. In modern society, everyone wants to live a secure life. Desire to get rich fast, to avail all comforts of life one become ambitious and selfish and uses short cuts in life. For this purpose even husband-wife are using each other. But finally big fish eats little fish and nothing comes in hand in the end. Ambitious boss uses his subordinate and ambitious husband uses his wife. One uses other shamelessly and continues to grow the body of Rakhtbeej inside them. It increases the number of suicide and murder cases in society every now and then. It is the most relevant play in today’s times and shows how Rakhtbeej is growing around us.
